There are no words to truly capture the loss of Amy Melissa Gee, who left this world on September 11, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Chris Gee and Sheilah Quentin, the dearest sister to Rebecca Gee, and the love of Richard Trujillo's life. But more than titles, Amy was the soft light in all our lives – the kind of person whose presence made the world feel gentler, whose love felt like home.

Amy had this rare, quiet magic about her. You could be in a crowded room, but when she looked at you, when she spoke to you, it felt like the world fell away, like nothing else mattered. She didn't need grand gestures – just her presence, her soft voice, and her gentle smile were enough to make you feel safe, cherished, and loved in a way that's hard to explain.

Her creativity was an extension of that same love. Amy didn't just make art; she poured herself into it. Every brushstroke, every piece of pottery, every simple doodle on a scrap of paper – it all carried a part of her soul. She had a gift for seeing beauty where others might not, and she had this quiet way of sharing that beauty with the people around her, leaving little pieces of herself in everything she created.

Amy's love for her family was the deepest part of who she was. Her bond with Rebecca, her sister, was unbreakable- a friendship built on shared moments, whispered secrets, and an understanding that only they had. She was her mother's and Father's pride and joy, a constant source of warmth and comfort, always showing up with love in her heart, the special mother-daughter bond she had with her mom. And with Richard, her fiancé she found the truest, deepest love. A quiet, steadfast connection built on trust, dreams of a future together, and the kind of love that feels like home. Richard's family became her family. Amy loved them dearly, especially Adrianna and Melani (Adi and Melmi), and they welcomed her with open arms.

Amy's absence leaves a hole in the hearts of everyone who loved her, a space that will never be filled. But she will never be truly gone.  Her laughter, her kindness, her art, and most of all, her love – they will stay with us, always.

Amy, you were everything to us. We will miss you every day, but your love will never leave us. Rest peacefully our beautiful daughter.
