Anthony “Tony” Joseph Machado, 94, of Selma, CA passed away on August 4, 2026. Tony was born on April 6, 1932 to Alfred & Mary Machado in Fairmead, California. He was a devoted farmer, truck driver, husband, father, & grandfather. After graduating from Selma High School in Selma, California, Tony married Norma (Yarbrough) in 1952.

Tony worked as an autobody repair technician prior to becoming a truckdriver and farmer. He enjoyed racing go-karts, pitching for a local baseball team, and spending time in the Oceano Dunes either in a dune buggy or on a three-wheeler.

Tony is preceded in death by his wife Norma Machado in 2012, his father Alfred Machado, mother Mary Machado, as well as all but one of his siblings.

Tony is survived by his sister Mary L. George, his daughters Patricia (Galen) Carlson of Kingsburg, CA, Sandra (Martin) Machado of Selma, CA, Linda (Robert) Gutierrez) of Fowler, CA, and Marilyn (Glenn) Coffman of Laton, CA, grandchildren Sheri (Julian) Irigoyen of Kingsburg, CA, Brandi (Roger) Havener of Fresno, CA, Misty Underwood of Fresno, CA, Marsha (Johnny) Alves of Kingsburg, CA, Jessica (Robert) Cardenas of Fowler, CA, Amanda Coffman of Laton, CA, Bradley (Kaysi) Coffman of Laton, CA, Amber (Jason) Warmuth of Fowler, CA, and Taylor Coffman of Laton, CA, as well as 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
