Barbara Gee, age 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2025, in Fresno, California. She was born on July 30, 1930, in Selma, California, to Wesley and Mildred Wedgeworth.

Barbara was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who loved the Lord with all of her heart and served Him faithfully until the end. Her faith guided every step she took, and her gentle, caring spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

For over 30 years, Barbara worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, caring for others with the same compassion and dedication that defined her life. Her patients, friends, and family remember her as a woman of deep faith, warmth, and unwavering kindness.

In addition to being very skilled in the kitchen, and as a seamstress who hand-crafted her own clothes, she was equally skilled at carving animals from simple pieces of wood. However when it came to composing verse this was where Barbara truly shined, the Lord gifted her with the amazing ability to write poems. We would be remiss if we failed to mention how much she loved horses and the joy she derived from each horseback ride. She was an avid rider.

Barbara is survived by her children, James Gee, Rebecca Gee and Maria Arnold; 11 grandchildren; and host of great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mildred Wedgeworth, her husband J.B. Gee and her son Johnny Gee.

Friends and family will gather to remember Barbara on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Fellowship Church in Sanger, with burial to follow at Sanger Cemetery.

Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
