Obituary

Nana was born May 7,1934 and went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2025. She was  the oldest girl of thirteen in her family. She had five older brothers that would say "She  was in charge!" She was a role model for 5 younger sisters and one baby brother. She  met the love of her life, Art while ice skating at the park. They were sweethearts  through school and were married on May 23, 1953. Art was soon drafted into the  army. Upon his discharge they moved from Ohio to Fresno, California. They were  blessed with four children. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Art and  multiple brothers and sisters. She is survived by four sisters; Mary Jayne, Dorothy,  Judy and Janet as well as her four children; Brenda, David (Judy) Diana and Mike  (Joanne). Nana was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and  4 great great grandchildren. She shared her love of the Lord through always wanting to  give to others. "You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord's people but is overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 2 Corinthians 9:11-12. The family would like to thank the many care providers who helped take care of Nana  particularly Sharon and Granddaughter Savannah as well as many visits and prayer  from Pastor Mike Chastain. A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9th  at 11am at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
