Betty Ermoian 

January 8, 1938 - May 25, 2026

Betty Ermoian passed away in Fresno, California on May 25, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on January 8, 1938, in Rockford, Illinois, to Eugene and Opal Murphy, Betty grew up in a large family alongside seven sisters and five brothers. In 1958 she and her husband John Wiltfang moved their family to Fresno, California, where she built a life filled with love, dedication, and hard work.

Betty was a devoted homemaker until 1974, when she began a career at Fresno Community Hospital, where she worked for 20 years, she later continued her career at Kaiser Hospital for another nine years before happily retiring.

On November 18, 1983, Betty married the love of her life, George Ermoian. Together they shared 28 wonderful years of marriage and created many cherished memories.

Betty found joy in shopping, fishing, and, above all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her sons Robert Wiltfang and Jon Wiltfang and his wife, Dana; her grandchildren Jeremy, Chelsea, Bobby, Ryan, Johnny, Justin, great-grandchildren Kian, Rhea, Myles, and Miley.

Betty will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed by her family and friends.

She will be laid to rest Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
