BRENT EUGENE HAMBLETON
JULY 22, 1944 – JANUARY 6, 2026

Brent Eugene Hambleton was a man defined by hard work, capable hands, and a deep love for his family.  A lifelong builder and fixer, he showed who he was through action not words.  He took pride in doing things himself.

Brent shared 50 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janet, building a life rooted in devotion, loyalty, and steady partnership.

His talents as a craftsman were unmistakable.  Brent built three hot rods by hand, shaping, fabricating, rebuilding, and refining every detail.  He restored a vintage Airstream trailer almost entirely on his own, bringing it back to life.  Brent was equally gifted with wood, building and restoring furniture.  Whether working on a chassis, cabinetry, wiring, or finish work, he understood how things were made and how to make them better.

Professionally, Brent spent more than 55 years in the transportation industry, working in truck driving, logistics, supply chain operations, and concluding his career as a safety director.  His reputation was built on reliability, fairness, and an uncompromising sense of responsibility.

He was old-school and straightforward, with a love for his shop, classic cars, Western movies, Mexican food, frosty cones and a good burger.  Above all else, he loved his wife and family deeply and without condition.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Maude Hambleton, three brothers, three sisters, and his son John Hambleton.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Hambleton; his son, Justin Hambleton; his daughter, Carly Hyslop and her husband Ryan; his son, Mathew Hunt and his wife Jacquelyn; and four cherished grandchildren.

Though he will be deeply missed, the things he built, the lessons he taught, and the standards he lived by will endure.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
