Brent Bradford Hutchings, the son of Gib and Paulie Hutchings, was born on February 9, 1971, in Fresno, California.  The fourth child in the family, he had older siblings Sloan Hutchings, Greg Hutchings, and Emily Hutchings Jordan.  He was an adorable baby with a personality to match.  By the time he was a toddler, it was clear that Brent was a free spirit, and wanted to set his own course.  He had a charm that could melt your heart along with an ability to fully test your patience.    Upon graduation from Bullard High School, he headed to San Luis Obispo to attend Jr. College and found that higher education was not for him.  He returned to Fresno and started his own Automobile Detailing Business.

Brent had many friends and associates.  His infectious smile made him a memorable companion, and he had many classmates from childhood who remember him fondly.  Sadly problems followed him, and in recent years he spent much time trying to regain his health.  This year he made progress toward this goal.  He passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2023, at his new apartment in Fresno.

He is survived by his mother, Paulie Hutchings, his brothers and sister, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gib Hutchings.  They are united now.

A graveside service for Brent will be held on July 31, 2023 at 11 am at Belmont Memorial Cemetery.
