After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Celia Tinoco Calvillo passed away on June 26, 2023 while on hospice care at the age of 60. She leaves behind her sons Cesar Calvillo, Edgar Calvillo, daughter Sally Vera, and granddaughter Sophia Vera.

Celia was born on March 13, 1963 in Guadalajara, Jalisco to father Juan Tinoco and mother Guadalupe Herrera.  She grew up in a large, loving family with 5 sisters and 4 brothers that she loved immensely.

She married Cesar Calvillo on October 28,1991. They lived in Selma where they raised their 3 children. Celia worked as a cook for many years.

n September 15, 2002 she lost her husband and was set to continue to raise her children. She devoted her time to her children and later granddaughter.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and going to the casino.

We will miss her laughter, humor, and loving and caring personality. She was always willing to help those in need when she could. She will be deeply missed but we will continue honor her memory by continuing to do the things she loved and represented her.

Después de una dura batalla contra el cáncer, Celia Tinoco Calvillo falleció el 26 de junio de 2023 mientras estaba en cuidados paliativos a la edad de 60 años. Deja atrás a sus hijos César Calvillo, Edgar Calvillo, su hija Sally Vera y su nieta Sophia Vera.

Celia nació el 13 de marzo de 1963 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, de padre Juan Tinoco y madre Guadalupe Herrera. Creció en una familia grande y cariñosa con 5 hermanas y 4 hermanos a los que amaba inmensamente.

Se casó con César Calvillo el 28 de octubre de 1991. Vivían en Selma, donde criaron a sus 3 hijos. Celia trabajó como cocinera durante muchos años.

El 15 de septiembre de 2002 perdió a su marido y estaba lista para seguir criando a sus hijos. Ella dedicó su tiempo a sus hijos y más tarde a su nieta.

Le gustaba pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares, ir a conciertos e ir al casino.

Echaremos de menos su risa, su humor y su personalidad amorosa y cariñosa. Siempre estuvo dispuesta a ayudar a los necesitados cuando pudo. La echaremos mucho de menos, pero seguiremos honrando su memoria al seguir haciendo las cosas que ella amó y la representó.
