Charles "Chuck" Ray Wright, 91, of Selma, California, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, in Brookings, Oregon. He was born on November 8,1933 to Herman and Della Wright in Bokoshe, Oklahoma. After graduating from Kingsburg High School in 1952 he joined the Army. After safely returning from his time in the Army during the Korean war, he became a carpenter. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying shooting, boating, and fishing. His was a life filled with hard work and dedication to ensure the comfort and security of his family.

Chuck married Azelia Anne Wright in 1958, and they raised three children Kevin, Lori, and Dina in a home filled with love and laughter. Chuck is remembered not just as a good friend to many, but also as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Anne in 2022; his granddaughter, Stephanie in 2017; and his siblings William Wright, James Wright, and Betty Williams.

Chuck is survived by his children, Kevin (Danell) Wright, Lori (Ken) Carter, and Dina (Kevin) Helm; his four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and his siblings, Demyrl Buchanan and Thelma Steen.
