Dane Anthony Rigaud was born in Los Angeles, CA, on September 10, 1949. Dane had a rich and varied life. He grew up in a Catholic household, attended parochial schools, and served as an altar boy. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he trained as a Morse Systems Operator and later cross-trained as an Aircraft Loadmaster. Dane served tours in Japan and England where he was part of a local music group. Dane traveled to many countries while a flight crewmember stationed at Travis AFB, CA.
After 10 years of active duty, Dane transitioned to the Air Force Reserves while pursuing a career in healthcare. He became a Certified Nurse Assistant, Licensed Vocational Nurse, and ultimately a Registered Nurse, working for over 25 years at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno, CA.
Dane's faith was central to his life. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1978. Upon receiving the Holy Spirit, Dane became deeply involved in various churches, ministries, and Bible study groups. Music remained an important part of Dane's life, as he sang and played guitar in church choirs and worship teams. Dane was known for his warm smile, sense of humor, and commitment to prayer and intercession for his family
and others.
Dane is survived by his wife Deborah, daughter Dana, sister Francesca, granddaughter Jordyn and many friends, co-workers, and members of the Body of Christ who were impacted by his life and service.
