On February 17,2024, David Torres passed away surrounded by his family, at the age of 71. He was born in Fresno, on September 14, 1952, to Joaquin and Irene Torres; the second of four children.

He was an avid runner in his early years and participated in numerous marathons. He loved all things Elvis Presley and his favorite pastime was taking his family camping.

David dedicated nearly 42 years of service to the Internal Revenue Service and retired as a Department Manager in accounts management in 2017.

He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vera Sauceda Torres, his daughter Melissa and her husband Jacob Luna, daughter Christina and her husband Kyle Torres, daughter Nikki and her fiancé Tony Angel; his grandchildren Trinity Luna, Ariah Luna, Matthew Luna, and Adam Torres. He is also survived by his brothers Richard Torres, Michael and his wife Gloria Torres, and his sister Mary and her husband John Carrillo.

David was such a wonderful person and impacted so many people who've come to meet him.

Although, he has left this world, the memories he's left behind are everlasting.

Memorial service for David will be held on Thursday March 7, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church 5770 N. Maroa Ave. Fresno, Ca 93704."
