Donna
Vance-Threlkeld
Apr 11, 1966 — Apr 30, 2025
Converse
It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Donna Vance-Threlkeld. She passed away on April 30th, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by her loved ones. After battling an illness for over four years, God called her home, and now she is "Dancing in the Sky." Donna was a strong, empowering, dedicated, and brave woman who fought a tough fight.
Her funeral will be held at Farewell – Page Funeral Chapel in Selma, CA on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025. She was truly loved by many and adored by even more. Despite her own struggles, Donna was the kindest person we know, always putting others first. Her dedication to her family and animals showed her amazing and loving heart. She would give anything to help those in need, standing up for what was right and the underdog.
Donna's favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, who were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment with them and the rest of her family. She enjoyed watching the cooking channel, trying new recipes, and cooking for others. Donna loved fishing with our dad, taking long drives, shopping, and being present with everyone. She was passionate about her work at the school and nursing homes, caring for the elderly and giving back to the community. Donna was hardworking and passionate about the people and things she loved. She was funny and entertaining, making up voices and using them for everyone. The world lost an amazing, beautiful, smart, funny, caring, giving, loving, and good-hearted woman!
She is survived by her Soulmate and Love of Her Life, Rickie Dewayne Threlkeld; Son, Steven James Linton; Oldest Daughter, Christina Rene Rodriguez, Son-in-law, Paul Rodriguez, Grandkids, Anita Rodriguez, Jesse Larente Rodriguez, and Emily Darlene Rodriguez; Middle Daughter, Ashley Nicole White, Son-in-Law, Freddie Paul White II, Grandkids, Khloe Christine White, Haven Braelynn White, and Isabella Rose-Marie White; and her Baby Daughter, Elissa Leanne Threlkeld-Romero, Son-in-Law, Anthony Ray Romero, Grandkids, Anthony Ray Romero Jr., and Zoey Alexandria Romero.
You will forever be in our hearts and loved, and we miss you so much! We know you're in Heaven smiling down at us, saying, I am okay, I am free, and I love you all very much! Heavenly Father, please guide us and pave a path of healing and coping for us, give us the strength to keep going and the ability to get through this hard time in our lives, please help us find peace and acceptance with this loss of such an amazing soul, and help us to understand why she is gone. Please be patient with all of us as we try to navigate this world without our momma, soulmate, grandma, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend! Thank you, Father God, and Amen!
