Jeanne O'Dell went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2024, at the age of ninety four. She was born on March 3, 1930, in Beckley, West Virginia  to Roy and Zola Wood. She was third to the youngest in the family of eight children.

Jeanne was the beloved Wife of Frank O'Dell for 70 years, and the mother of three children, Frank O'Dell, Jr. of Fontana, Ca, Vivian Galba of Fresno, CA, and Lloyd O'Dell of Cleveland TN. She was Grandmother to Dyles (Aaron) Davis, Bethany Davis, Megan Molina, Sara Johnson, Rachael Jones, and Hannah Allen. She was blessed to be a Great Grandma to Lily Davis, Valentina O'Dell, Josefina Allen, Anne-Shirley and Frank Johnson, and Matthew Jones.

Jeanne married Frank in 1953 and while he was in the service for 30 years, she helped him to serve his country by orchestrating many moves from base to base and becoming both Mom and Dad to the children while he was overseas.

Her family moved to Fresno from the east coast in 1972. She and her husband attended Peoples Church for 51 years, and worked in various areas of the church, including being Greeters for Sunday services for many years.

Jeanne loved to travel and took numerous trips with her Husband all over the world. She was always there for anyone that needed help and was an exceptional Christian woman who always strove to emulate the Proverbs 31 Woman. She was very much loved and will be extremely missed.
