Eva Alvarez Benson was born December 7, 1940 in St. Angelo, Texas and passed away on January 19, 2025 in Fresno, California at the age of 84.
Eva was a beloved mother of 7 kids, grandmother of 22, great grandmother of 35 and great great grandmother of 8, She was also a loving comadre and friend.
Eva was a supervisor at Wawona frozen foods for 20+ years.
Eva is proceeded in death by her daughter Golda Benson (1986), her mother Maria Alvarez (1993), her brothers Gregorio Alvarez (1989), Felipe Thomas Alvarez (1998) and Pedro "Pete" Alvarez.
As per the family's request, please wear violet/purple to the service to honor Eva's favorite color.
