Eva Maria Caudillo was born in Pasadena, California, on July 20, 1942, to parents Frank and Maria Ochoa. At an early age her family moved to Los Banos, California where her father worked as a ranch-field foreman and her mother as a ranch-house cook. 

At age 14, her mother moved the family to Fresno, California, where Eva completed her early education throught high school. She later completed an Associates in Arts degree at Fresno City College and a Bachelors in Arts degree at Pacific University, Fresno. 

Eva worked in the Unified School Districts in Fresno and Orange County for 15 years, later worked and retired from the California State Employment Development Department. 

She is survived by husband Joseph Caudillo; daughter Anne MacDonald; and grandson Ian MacDonald. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, sisters and brothers-in-law.

Eva was blessed to have retained a mulititude of friends thoughout her years, many from her school and working years as well as special prayer groups. Her family will be forever grateful for their prayers and support.
