Frances E. Cole (née Davis), known affectionally as Fran, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Fresno, CA, at the age of 90. Born on November 21, 1933, in McLean, TX, she was a beloved member of the Fowler community, where she dedicated many years of service at the Fowler Unified School District office.

Fran was a reserved and gentle soul, cherished by all who knew her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often engaging in games of dominoes and cards. After her retirement, Fran spent countless serene days at Pismo Beach, a place she deeply loved.

Fran's life was marked by a profound dedication to her family. She was married to Alvin Cole for 66 years until his passing in 2019. Fran was a loving mother to her sons, Bruce and the late Bryan Cole, a doting grandmother to her five grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Gaylon Johnson and Bryanette Pendley, who will miss her deeply.

A graveside service will be held at Selma Cemetery District, followed by a Celebration of Life at Fowler Baptist Church. Fran's life and legacy will be honored and remembered by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness and grace.
