Gerald "Jerry" Lopez was born August 12, 1951, in Fresno, California and went home to be with his Lord on July 20, 2023, with his wife lovingly by his side. Jerry was 71 years of age.

Gerald is survived by his wife Patty of forty-three years. His sisters Bettie Jean Milbury, Edna Garcia and brother Ronald Garcia and his wife Margaret, along with many family members.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents Trinidad C. Lopez and Rosie Lopez.

Gerald was a member of the IBEW Local #100 of Fresno, California. He was employed as a Journeyman Electrician for almost forty years. Gerald worked in the bay area as well. Gerald truly enjoyed his career.

He was very knowledgeable and had the ability to repair anything. Jerry was my most precious handyman.

In his younger years, he would work on his own autos repairing or replacing engines (he had a '56' Chevy). We enjoyed riding around on his motorcycle, getting sunburned, no doubt.

We enjoyed the beach, especially Carmel, it was one of our favorites.

Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and riding our bikes. Working in the yard was a joy to him, planting fruit trees, gardening, and planting rose trees. He also enjoyed photography and developing his own pictures.

My beloved Jerry was kind, loving, soft spoken. He had the most beautiful smile ever, and a great sense of humor.

Jerry will be truly missed by his wife Patty.
