Gregory Wayne Ball

Gregory Wayne Ball passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, with his family by his side. Greg was born on May 18, 1956, in Carmel, California, to Merrill Ball of Hanford, CA, and LaRue Burrus of Arkansas. In November of 1958, the family made Fresno their home.

The youngest boy of five children, Greg is survived by his brother Dennis Ball of Fresno and his sister Sue Bondander of Turlock, CA. He was preceded in death by his father Merrill Ball, his mother LaRue Ball, his brother Mitch Ball, and his sister Janet Colvin.

In 1970, Greg fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Jodie Moore of Clovis, CA. Together they built a beautiful life and raised three daughters: Kelly, Kristi, and Kayla. Of all of Greg's many roles, his proudest accomplishment was being "Grandpa" to his seven grandchildren - Addison, Jake, Taylyn, Deegan, McKenzie, Colton, and Kate. He never missed a moment to cheer them on, whether at a sporting event, an award ceremony, or even a school dance.

Greg's life was one filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family. He was a son, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. His presence touched countless lives, and his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
