Obituary

Jack White, age 85, of Fresno, California, passed away on August 8, 2023. He was born on May 25, 1938, in Marmaduke, Ark.  Jack was a beloved husband, father, and friend.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pam Eskra White, and his daughters Sheila White Brown, Kimberly White Plait, Nicole Eskra Butler & husband Tim Butler, and Shelle Eskra Hartmann & husband Rusel Hartmann.

Jack had a successful career, owning and working in several businesses throughout his lifetime. For over 45 years, he dedicated his expertise to the auto-parts industry and owned Trans-State, an auto parts warehouse in downtown Fresno. He was known for his hard work and dedication in his profession.

In his free time, Jack enjoyed various hobbies, including fishing, boating, auto restoration, clock restoration, and general tinkering. He was a proud member of the Fresno Corvette Club for several years, where he shared his passion for cars with fellow enthusiasts.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Chandler Airport Flight Line Cafe, located at 524 Airport Road, Fresno, CA 93706. Family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to attend and honor Jack's memory.

Jack White's legacy will live on through his loving family and the impact he made in his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
