James Miranda of Caruthers, California passed away at home, on March 20, 2025, at the age of 41. James was born on August 7, 1983, the youngest of five children, to Mary and Freddy Barrios in San Fernando, California. He attended Caruthers High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Brianna. James married Brianna in 2002. They had three children Jeremiah, Julianna, and Freddy. James worked as a welding supervisor at McGaughy Suspension. He oversaw the entire welding department and was a mentor for welding students.

In his home life, James enjoyed traveling to watch his children play baseball and soccer. Some of his favorite hobbies were barbecuing, cooking for his family, and coming up with new recipes for holiday meals. James loved spending the holidays with his family and creating memories. He is remembered for his caring nature, sense of humor, and his incredible laugh. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather.

James is survived by his wife, Brianna; his children, Jeremiah, Julianna, and Freddy; grandson, Alio; his mother Mary, and his siblings, Arturo, Lucero, Manuel, Carlos, Deandre, and Desean.
