Jane Yvonne Carruth passed away on January 3, 2026. Jane was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, sister, and a woman of strength—tough as steel, fiercely loyal, and deeply loved by those who knew her best.

Jane's life was anchored in family. She is survived by her two children, Ryan Blake Kalashian and Karson Brandon Kalashian; her three grandchildren, Calder Vaughn Kalashian, Margaret Ann Kalashian, and Katherine Jane Kalashian; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kalashian; and her brother, Allan Melikian. Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lowell Carruth.

Throughout her life, Jane wore many titles—homemaker, mom, and model among them—and she carried each with pride, resilience, and a sharp sense of purpose. She moved through the world with confidence and self-respect. She loved fashion and had an eye for style; she loved movies, music, art, and cooking—the kind of things that brought people together. She also loved the coast, always drawn to the beauty, and the open horizon.

A memorial service will be held at the First Armenian Presbyterian Church in Fresno on January 21, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.

Jane will be missed more than words can capture, and remembered with love, admiration, and gratitude.
