Jeffrey John Schuler was born on March 7,1975 to Robert and Diana Schuler, in Modesto, CA.  The family moved to Fresno in 1977 where Jeff attended Malloch Elementary, Tenaya Junior High and Bullard High Schools, where he met many lifelong friends.

Soccer was a big part of his life in both elementary and high schools, even beyond…. It became a passion in his life developing from an early age and he continued to play in college and semi-pro professional, including the Modesto Cruisers.

The most important thing that happened in Jeff's life was becoming a father in 2007 when he and Arden Hertz had a son, Owen John Terry  Schuler. Owen was his pride and joy!  He was a devoted father.

And he loved taking Owen countless times to the beach and mountains to experience all they could together! He loved his son so much.

Jeff also had amazing survival skills; He enjoyed all sorts of food, preparing and cooking for his friends.  His creativity was always present and he could sell anything to anyone!!

Jeff never felt sorry for himself even near the end….and was always a loyal friend.  His heart was big and full of compassion, caring and love.

Even when he had nothing, he would literally give you the last shirt he had if you needed it…

This life became hard for Jeff's sensitive soul; he battled and overcame many of his demons yet for some he was not able to cope with…even when he was at his lowest, he was still positive and forward looking.

Jeff loved Jesus with all of his heart.  He gave his life to Christ at the age of 13 at Northwest Church.  He rededicated his life to Christ shortly before he passed, witnessed by Jimmy Taylor and Jimmy's father. Be at Peace eternally Jeff.

He is survived by his son, Owen Schuler; Father, Robert Schuler; sister, Kristi and her husband, Kent Robison; nieces Grace Robison and Gaby Bojorquez, her husband Brandon, and nephew Clay Robison; Stepmother, Jeremy Schuler and numerous loving cousins, aunts and uncles and extended family.
