Jerri Lynn Yandell, beloved Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Partner and Grandma was called home to the Lord on Friday, August 29th.

Born on December 1st 1947 in Fresno CA, Jerri lived a life of devotion, love and service. She trusted in God's grace and now rests in His eternal peace.

Jerri is survived by her brothers Dale (Carol) & Darrel (Nancy), nieces Jennifer (Chris), Melissa, Micki (Wyatt) & Cindy (Rick) and nephew Steven (Nicole), partner Don and granddaughters AlexSandra & Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents Stan and Jean Yandell and nephew Michael.

She was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.  She loved serving as an Elder & Deacon, teaching Sunday school, doing important paperwork, helping organize countless events for others and never missed an opportunity to host coffee hour.

After graduating from California State University Fresno, she became everyone's favorite preschool teacher and taught her whole adult life.  Her love for children knew no limit.  She never went too long without a former student running into her and gushing over how she's is still their favorite teacher.  For more than 25 years she served as a board member for Educare, a nonprofit that aids children and their families in Central California.

She was also a member of her local Central Valley Aviation Association (CVAA).  Jerri was always up for an adventure with Don and says that her favorite place to fly was anywhere they were going.

Services will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 11am on Monday September 8th.
