Jill Taylor Green passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 10, 2024 at the age of 89. Jill was born in Fresno, California to Clifton ("Kip") Beatty Taylor and Juanita ("Tot") Lorraine Taylor and lived in Fresno all of her life.

Jill was a graduate of Fresno High School, Class of 1953, and then attending Fresno State College where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and her secondary teaching credential. During her time at Fresno State College, Jill was affiliated with and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority and was very involved with the organization, as well as continuing on to be a contributing member of the Delta Gamma Alumni for many years.

Jill went on to become a teacher at Fresno High School and later was an instructor and Dean of Students at Heald College for many years before retiring.

Jill had many close friends of which she kept in close contact with over the years, including a group of her closest friends meeting on a regular basis to play bridge since the early 1960's.

She was a member of Northwest Church where she was very involved in the Church choir which she thoroughly enjoyed. Jill also was an avid gardener and loved doing yard work with her husband Bob. Jill loved cooking, entertaining and putting family parties together as well as being an accomplished artist and had quite a following in the community as her watercolors were loved by many. Jill also participated in the Fresno Artworks annual art show and sale and did so up until she was 82.

Jill is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Robert Milton Green. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Hunter Scott Wright and her sister, Paige Taylor Dose. Jill is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Taylor Wright and her daughter Hayley Taylor Wright. Her son Kip Robert Green, his wife Tracy and their children, Dylan Andrew Green, his wife Kameron and their daughter, Kodi Green; and Alexander Robert Green, all of Fresno. Jill is also survived by her brother-in-law, Kenneth Dose and her niece and three nephews.

Jill loved her family and enjoyed giving of herself through her thoughtfulness and creativity. Jill has left her mark on our hearts and will be greatly missed.
