Joanne Hernandez, 81, of Selma, California, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 6, 1944 to James and Jean Clark and was raised in Selma, CA.  Joanne was an active member of her church and served as the church secretary for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jesse J Hernandez; her four children, Michael Hernandez, Michelle Dennis, Joseph Hernandez and Ruth Ann Guerrero; her nine grandchildren, Isaac Perez, Rio Dennis, Ulysess Perez, Angel Hernandez, Andrea Hernandez, Ox Dennis, Sergio Guerrero, Sebastian Guerrero and Joshua Guerrero, one great-grandchild, Isaac Perez Jr; and two sisters, Katherine Clark-Yuen and Patricia Chavez.

A graveside service will be held on June 13 at 10:00am at Selma Cemetery, followed by a memorial service and celebration of her life at New Day Church located at 2050 Arrants St, Selma, CA 93662.
