In Loving Memory of Joe "Cuate" Romero

December 31, 1945 – May 20, 2025

With deep sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Joe "Cuate" Romero, who left this world on May 20, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 31, 1945, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Joe was a beloved father, a hardworking man, and someone who brought quiet strength and steady love to all who knew him.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Antonia Romero. He is survived by his five children: Andy, Hope, Nevada, Joey, Angela, Jaime and Sixteen grandchildren.  His children & grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he was a constant source of support and love in their lives.

A natural jokester, Joe had a gift for making people laugh. His sense of humor could light up a room and lift spirits even on the hardest days. Whether it was a well-timed joke or playful tease; he knew how to bring joy to those around him. Joe also had a passion for working on cars and could often be found under the hood, doing what he loved. He also enjoyed fishing — finding peace in the quiet moments by the water. His hands were always busy, and his heart was always full.  He was known for one more thing that truly set him apart – his Mustache. Whether perfectly groomed or playfully unkept, it became a symbol of his unique personality and unmistakable sense of humor.

His legacy lives on in the skills he passed down, the values he upheld, the jokes he told and the memories he created with those lucky enough to know him.
