John Edward Sanders, 85, passed away on June 25, 2026. Born on December 21, 1940, in Stonewall, Oklahoma.

John was the son of Robert and Lina Sanders. He proudly served in the United States Navy for four years before beginning a career with Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), where he worked for 29 years until his retirement.

 John was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet nature, and willingness to help others. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a talented builder. One of his greatest pleasures was crafting porch swings for his family, which continue to be enjoyed today.

 He is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Sanders) Krugman and her husband, Archer; his son, Steven Sanders and his wife, Evelyn; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Glenda Sue Sanders; his parents, two brothers; and one sister. The family appreciates the love and support of friends and loved ones during this time. He will be greatly missed.
