Juanita
Wallace
Oct 4, 1928 — Apr 16, 2025
Juanita was born at home in Douglas County, Missouri on October 4, 1928 to Mary Cleo (Burdan) and Otis Dewey Conley. She was one of seven children, four brothers and two sisters, she was number three. Her younger sister Bonnie, the last surviving at 94 years old.
Her family came to Sanger, California when she was a young teenager. She worked for many years at Sanger Citrus, packing oranges and later worked at Frigid Foods in Sanger, as a meat wrapper. That gave her the experience to ultimately finish out her working years with Vons as a Retail Clerks Union member in their meat department, retiring at 72 years old. Stoic and reserved with her emotions, she was married twice, first having three children, Randall Boyd Glasco, Gary Alan Glasco and Julie Ann Glasco. Later remarrying and having Arthur Jon Wallace.
She always kept a clean, beautiful home and yard no matter the life circumstances. She was in excellent health till almost her last days. She renewed her last drivers license at 90 years old, still owning her stylish and sleek, black 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. Circumstances caused many moves but ultimately she landed in a big, beautiful home she was so proud of. She was so happy to decorate it and work in her beautiful yard. She passed peacefully and quietly in her own home with her two remaining children, Julie and Arthur caring for her and at her side when she passed at 96.
She is survived by her daughter Julie Glasco Broyles and her husband Kelly and son Arthur Jon Wallace. Grandchildren Shawn and Brendan Broyles, Scott Glasco and his wife Sheresa, Jennifer Domoto, Colby and Amanda Glasco and her great grandchildren Shawn Michael, Logan and Alexis and Leah and Angela.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor, please come and join us in celebrating her amazing life.
