Judy Lamonica Nash
1/10/1939 to 9/23/2023

Judith Ann Lamonica was born to Samuel Constanza and Vera Margaret Lamonica on January 10, 1939. She grew up in Fresno CA on a ranch near the corner of First/Herndon.  She and her brother Daryle Lamonica enjoyed the beauty of country living and attended Clovis High School.  Judy was in the color guard and had many friends in the girls society.  After high school, she attended Fresno State University and earned a degree in Education.  It was there that she met James Hulan Nash and they soon tied the knot and moved to a turkey ranch in Snelling, CA. Those years in Snelling were rich in country living, friendships and family life.  It was there that her two daughters Kathy Lynn Lowe and Lori Ann Relph were born. After a few vocational moves, Jim and Judy and the girls settled in Merced, CA.

The memory of Judy will always be associated with a genuine love of people.  In the classroom she was a beloved teacher and coworker.  In the community, she was rich in long-standing friendships formed from the New Comer's Club, the tennis courts and bridge groups.  In the family, she was devoted and loving and cherished by her husband, children and the grands and greats.  She had a unique gift of making everyone feel special.  There is no forgetting an encounter with Judy.

She will be remembered by her husband, her two children, her 5 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren along with countless friends and family. Thank you, Judy, for the blessing you were to each one of us.  You may be missing in our presence, but you will forever be with us in our hearts!
