Karleen "Kim" Marie Bradley
January 3, 1946 – October 4, 2023
On Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, Kim Bradley passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Kim was born in Chandler, Oklahoma to Carl Edward Day and Nelia Malloy Day, moving to the Fresno area only 12 days after she was born. On March 26, 1967, Kim married the love of her life, Charles Douglas "Doug" Bradley. Together they raised their three sons and built and grew their business, Bradley & Son's, Inc. Kim is survived by her husband of 56 years, Doug; her sons, Ron (wife, Nancy, passed away last year); Rick and wife, Kathy; Rod and wife, Kara; and Ginger Hammett Pringle, who she considered a daughter; her sister, Darleen "Sissy" Herman; grandchildren, Andrew Bradley & Amber (Galindo) Bradley, RyLee, Beau, & Ryann Bradley, and Jordyn & Seann Bradley; great-grandchildren, Jackson & Arya Galindo and Kennedy & Lily Bradley.
Kim had many talents and joys. She was a gifted artist, decorator, & gardener, and enjoyed spending time with her family & making her grandchildren feel special. Kim's genius in finance & accounting contributed greatly to her and Doug's success in business. The well drilling and pump company they started in 1976 is still going strong and has grown to be one of the largest companies in the Central Valley. While building their business she also spent time farming – growing alfalfa hay, ran a hardware & auto parts store, and remodeled homes, among other things. We, as a family, were convinced there was nothing she couldn't do. She will be very missed by many.
And while it all seems complicated now, we will remember what she often said (and painted on the wall in her home as a reminder) "Keep it simple, stupid".
Services will be held on November 3rd, 2023, at Redbank Cemetery in Clovis at 2:00pm
