Kay Lynn Pucheu, age 76, of Tranquillity, California, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2026. Kay was born April 23, 1950, in Fresno, California, to Leroy and Donnalee Hansen. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister Kathy Hansen.

Kay is survived by her husband, William (“Bill”) Pucheu; her sons, Erick, Brian, and Mark Pucheu; her daughter-in-law, Megan; and her grandchildren, Anneka, Elise, Jack, and Georgia.

Kay loved life and was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She was a farmer’s wife and a loving housewife who cherished raising her boys in Tranquillity. Kay also believed strongly in giving back to her community, supporting local organizations such as Boy Scouts of America Troop 164 and the Llenada Guild of Valley Children's Hospital. She also helped raise money for the Four Cities Band to send local children to Hawaii for a band competition—an effort close to her heart.

Kay was passionate about her alma maters, Selma High School and Fresno State University. She was a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and enjoyed everything related to the Bulldogs. She also had a special love for travel and looked forward to seeing the world with Bill whenever they were able to take a cruise.

A private burial will be held for the family. Kay’s memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5955 S. Elm Ave, Fresno, CA 93706. A luncheon will follow at C.P.D.E.S. Portuguese Hall of Fresno, 172 W Jefferson Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

In loving memory, Kay will be deeply missed and always remembered for her faith, dedication, and kindness.
