In Loving Memory of Kenneth Eugene Campbell

Kenneth Eugene Campbell, born to Albert and Myrtle Campbell on December 4, 1926, in Satanta, Kansas, quietly left this world to join his Heavenly Father on January 22, 2025. Known as Eugene to his 12 siblings, Kenneth grew up in the warmth of a close-knit family that moved to Mesa, Arizona, while he was still a baby. During his teenage years, the family relocated to central California.

In 1944, Kenneth answered the call of duty, enlisting in the United States Army during World War II. He served his country with honor in Okinawa, Japan, and was discharged on November 18, 1946. Upon returning home to California, Kenneth eventually made his way to Selma, where he met the love of his life, Betty.

In 1950, Kenneth and Betty were married in Parlier, California. Together, they settled in Fresno and built a life centered on faith, love, and family. They raised three daughters: Jeanie, Sherry, and Melanie. Kenneth worked as a skilled machinist and was a proud member of the Carpenter's Union. Over the years, Kenneth and Betty's love story continued to blossom, extending to the next generation as they welcomed three cherished grandchildren: Karla, Jordan, and Madison.

After retiring in 1991, Kenneth embraced his inner treasure hunter. He delighted in panning and dredging for gold, metal detecting, and tackling a variety of projects in his workshop. Kenneth was a faithful reader of the Bible; he lived quietly but profoundly, letting his actions speak to the deep care he felt for those around him.

Kenneth and Betty shared a beautiful partnership, united by love and faith, until Betty's passing in 1999. Even after her departure, her memory and their shared legacy remained central to his life. Now, they are together once more, as Kenneth will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife in a private ceremony in Clovis, California.

Kenneth is survived by his three daughters, his three grandchildren, two sons-in-law; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. His humor, tenacity, and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

In keeping with the Campbell family motto—Forget Not!—Kenneth's memory will be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones forever. Rest well, Papa. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
