Kenneth Allen Coplin went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2026. He was born in Hanford, CA on April 16, 1948 to Ruby and Charles Coplin.
From an early age, Kenny loved sports, especially baseball. He was a true blue Dodger fan and almost alwary had on a Dodgers baseball hat. Right out of high school, Kenny was a member of a rock and roll band, the Hunted. They played at many venues, including the Melco dances. In 1968, Kenny joined the Marine Reserves, where he served for 6 yerars. He worked for Pirelli Armstrong for 29 years and then was on staff for 10 years at Calvary Chapel of Hanford.
In 1971, Kenny married Kittie Cason, and they had 2 children, Jason and Jeff. Kenny coached baseball and soccer for many years, even playing on an adult league. He was a founding member of the Hanford Youth Soccer organization and served on the Soccer Board for many years. He also liked to bowl, playing on many teams. Kenny studied Karate, and earned his black belt. One of his favorite activites was horseback riding to the high country for 2 weeks each year to hunt and fish with a group of friends.
After retiring, Kenny and Kittie moved to clovis and made many new and close friends. As busy as Kenny was, he was never to busy to help someone in need. Above all esle, he loved his Lord Jesus with all his heart.
Kenny is survived by wife Kittie, sone Jeff, grandsons JJ (Jason Jr.), Noah and Myles. His brother Eber and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by son Jason, parents Charles and Ruby, sisters Sue, Gwen and Wadine and his brother Ronnie.
