Lana "Canerday" Willard
Lana L. Willard, a resident of Clovis, CA, finally succumbed to her three year battle with ovarian cancer. Lana faced this battle with grace and elegance to her passing on June 2, 2026.
Lana "Halfpint" Willard was a native of Porterville, CA, and a resident of Clovis, CA with her adoring husband Tim Willard of 35 Years. Lana's amazing life included marching in the Rose Bowl Game and Parade, as well as the Worlds Fair. Halfpint's life took her on journeys with B95 Radio, United Airlines as a Flight Attendant, and ultimately banking as a New Accounts and Loan Officer.
Finally in retirement, Lana was able to devote her life to serving her Lord and Savior at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Lana taught the 5 and 6 years old children their first prayers in catechism classes. Travel to her beach and cruises to the Caribbean were Lana's favorite escapes. But, as always Lana's most valued possessions were family and friends, which she showed unconditional LOVE. Everyone drawn closer by her infectious smile, and treated as if you were her long lost friend...Always...KIND AND TRUE...
Lana is survived by her son Brett, husband Tim and faithful companion WILLY J.. Lana was preceded in death her sons Ryan and Brandon, her father and mother Lionel and Lorene Canerday, and brother Lanny Jennings Canerday.
A service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 Champlain Drive, Fresno CA. A Celebration of Life to follow from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Elbow Room, 731 W. San Jose Ave., Fresno CA.
A service will also be held in Porterville, CA at 10:00 am on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Porterville Church of the Nazarene, 2005 W. Olive Ave. Porterville, CA. with a buffet to follow. Please come and share stories and LOVE... All are welcome....
