Lena Connie Mayes, 83, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, October 26, 2023.  She was born December 27, 1939, in Fresno, California.

She was a member of Mixon Baptist Church and had retired as a floor supervisor in a packing house in California.  She enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with her family.  She loved being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert Ray Mayes; mother, Ora Hector; and father, Jim Connie Hector.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023  Selma Cemetery District in Selma, California.

Lena is survived by her sons, David Mayes (Susan) of Nevada and Kelly Mayes (Shannon) of California; daughters, Donna Horsley (Herbert) of Rogers, Arkansas and Sheila Pack (Carl) of Booneville, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
