Linda Susan Lund Barnes was born in San Francisco, California October 28, 1957. She spent her growing up years on Halifax Drive in San Jose with her parents and sister Katrina.

Linda attended Westmont High School and San Jose State University. Linda made lifelong friends in the neighborhood, throughout school and in her working career. Linda was an excellent student, caring friend, and loving Mother.

She gave many of her friends cherished nick names. For her close friends she was a confidant, an advisor, a great listener and even a matchmaker. Linda was a sharp Loan Processor and Loan Officer. If you had any question regarding a loan for a home, she was a wealth of knowledge. Our dear friend was gracious and loved people. She remembered details from high school, shared vacations and events, most of us could not recollect. When you were with Linda, you felt you were the most important person in the time spent with her. She cared about your family, your friends and how your "heart" was. Linda loved decorating her home for the holidays for her family and often cooked or baked something delicious and beautiful, for the celebration.

Linda's spirit will live on in her son Ryan, her grandson Colten, and his brother Trevor. She would do anything for her boys and she loved them endlessly. She is so greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Her faith was strong, she always believed and held on to hope, no matter the circumstances.  We have all been blessed to have Linda in our lives. Linda passed very unexpectedly on February 11, 2024.
