Our mother was born April 6th 1951 in Memphis Tennessee to Leland and Gloria Knapp. Our grandfather was in the Navy which moved Linda and the rest of her siblings to California when she was a very young girl.

After meeting Our Father Dennis Funderburk she soon was married and became the mother of three boys, Donald, Dennis and lastly James.

After 13 years of marriage Linda and Dennis divorced leaving Linda as a single mother to three crazy boys. Using her courage and strength she found part-time work while simultaneously going to school and raising three boys nearly on her own. After completing her schooling she then went on to having a successful career of 27 years as a eligibility social worker for the county of San Diego

Linda was a beautiful soul. Generous and kind. She had a way of seeing the beauty in ugly people and situations. There was no limit to how far she would go to help those she loved. She was an amazing mother an even more amazing grandmother. She'll be greatly missed by all those who have ever known her.

Our lovely girl will be survived by sister Jan, brother John, sisters Jeannette. Celeste and Tammy as well as sons Donald, Dennis, James and her grand children Daniel, Nina, Lily and great grand daughter Tula.
