Obituary

Lloyd was born in Inglewood, CA April 3, 1945, moving to Fresno as a child. He is survived by his wife, Lynn and 3 children; Dirk Winston, Kim Stephens, Kim Ewing, a step-daughter Kerry Hentz, and 7 grandchildren. Two dogs Jack Jack and Marla. He was also in contact with his many cousins. He loved you all.

Lloyd cherished his many friends. When you are a friend of Lloyd's, you are his friend for life.

As his friends and family know his motorcycle(s) were his passion. His bikes were featured in Custom Chopper with a full picture layout of him and his ex-wife in the Dec. 1973 issue. Motorcycles was not his only talent. He could fabricate, build just about anything. His garage was his castle.

Lloyd was drafted into the Army, Artillery Branch during the Vietnam War. Fortunately, he did not have to experience active duty.

Lloyd was the manager at Cherokee Powder Coating working with one of his best friends Dusty.

Lloyd loved trying out new restaurants, especially when traveling. He would ask locals to find the best "mom & pop" places.

Beginning June 2015, Lloyd became disabled, unable to walk unassisted. As the years passed his body became more and more weak however he kept his sense of humor, remaining positive although suffering pain and discomfort. Much love and appreciation to his doctors, especially Dr. Guzman, Dr. Leung and Dr. Limova, their staff and to Around the Clock Care. Lloyd was very fortunate to be cared for by Julia, his Health Aid for close to 5 years. She became another daughter to him and he loved her dearly.

Lloyd was truly one of a kind. One of his favorite sayings was that he had no filters and anyone who spent time with him knew that was true. His outward appearance could be perceived as formidable (which he could be), however he was a down-to-earth, big-hearted, friendly guy. He is missed.
