Maria De La Cruz Renteria, fondly known as Cruz or Crusita, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, in Fresno, CA, at the age of 86. Born on May 3, 1940, in Sinaloa, Mexico, she was the cherished daughter of Juan Figueroa and Maria Del Rosario Valdez.

Renowned for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor, Maria dedicated her life to her family. She found great joy in cooking and traveling to visit loved ones, consistently demonstrating her unwavering commitment to those she held dear.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Hector Julio Renteria, and her children: Gabriela Dimas, Julio Ariel Renteria, Dagoberto Renteria, Maria Del Rosario Garcia, and Dinora Rivera. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held on July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Farewell Funeral Services, 660 W. Locust Ave. suite 101, Fresno, CA 93650.

Cruz will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, service, and compassion continues to inspire and live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
