It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mariam Yerkanyan, age 73, of Fresno, California, who entered eternal rest on October 18, 2025.

Mariam was born on November 1, 1951 in Armenia where she spent her early years surrounded by family, faith, and culture. She later made her home in Fresno, California, where she built a life rooted in love, resilience, and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her beloved children, Viktoriya and Nikogos and her beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Harutyun and her cherished son, Peter.

A Church Service will be held in Fresno at St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025 and a graveside burial service will be held immediately following at Masis Ararat Armenian Cemetery in Fresno, California.

Mariam will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she shared so freely with all who knew her. Her memory will remain a blessing to her family and friends forever.
