Obituary

Patricia Banuelos Marsh, a radiant soul born on May 1, 1947, in Fresno, CA, to Joseph and Mary Nunes, danced her way to the heavens on November 1, 2023, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Patsy, as she was fondly known, was the beloved sister to Elsie, Mary, Josie, Judy, Kathy, Linda, Francie, and Joey. She was a proud alumna of Riverdale High School. Her life's work was raising her four children, Bobby, Ricky, Randy, and Stephanie, with the same warmth and love she was known for.

Patricia's life was a melody of love, filled with the joyous laughter of her grandchildren, Ryan (Natalie), Reilly (Brianna), Reyna (Shawn), Blake, Taylor (JD), Rianne, Richie, Brett (Amie), Randon, and the sweet giggles of her great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Carter, Grace, Clark, Braxon, Greyson, Sophia, Bryson and Norah.

She was a woman of resilience who loved to talk, adored her friends, and cherished her family. Her hobbies included dancing, singing, crocheting, bunco, playing card games, and cooking delicious meals for her loved ones. Her love for country music was as deep as her love for her family.

Patricia's legacy is one of family values and hard work. She was a beacon of kindness and her beautiful soul touched everyone she met.

A Celebration of Life will take place after the holidays, giving her children time to heal from her sudden passing. Patricia's life was a dance of love, joy, and resilience, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially those who loved her dearly.

In the words of a country song she loved,

"Gentle as the sweet magnolia, strong as steel her faith and pride

She's an everlasting shoulder, she's a leading post of life

She hurts deep, and when she weeps, she's just as fragile as a child

And she's a sparrow when she's broken

But she's an eagle when she flies

She's a sparrow when she's broken

But she's an eagle when she flies

Oh, bless her, Lord

She's an eagle when she flies." Fly on, Ma, Fly on.
