Paula Rodriguez Yanes, 89, of Selma, California, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. She entered her eternal home with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on June 30, 1936, in Brownsville, Texas, Paula married the love of her life, Frank Yanes, on April 23, 1956. Together they raised five children: Yolanda, Deborah, Frank, Napoleon, and Vickie.

Paula was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, cherished for her warmth, generosity, and deep faith. She worked as a nurse for 36 years, caring for countless patients with compassion, and was well known for her dedication to her family, her community, and her many acts of kindness.

She is survived by her five children and a legacy of 55 grandchildren, one granddaughter that greeted her in heaven, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she faithfully prayed for by name.

Paula will be remembered as the heart of her family a matriarch whose love, laughter, and faith touched everyone she met.
