Pete Paredes was born on September 2nd,1942. He passed away on November 16th, 2024.He was the youngest of five children. He was also known as the "baby brother" of the family. Pete was born in Sheridan, Wyoming to Pedro & Marina Paredes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers John Paredes, Joe Paredes, Mike Paredes and his sister Frances Paredes Rosales.
Pete served in the Army during the Vietnam War. In 1967 Pete married the love of his life, Vera Vargas. Pete & Vera were married for almost 55 years. Pete earned a Liberal Arts degree. He worked at Armstrong Tire company for almost 10 years. Pete worked at Fresno County Social Service until he retired. However, his favorite job was when he worked at the Irvine Spectrum. Pete was a long-time musician who started playing the drums when he was in junior high. Pete was in several bands during his life (The Distortions, Fiesta , Old Country & Muscatel).
Pete and Vera lived in Kingsburg where they raised their four children. His wife Vera passed away on March 2,2022. Pete is survived by his daughters, Felicia & Florence. His sons Andrew, Peter & his wife Christine and his two wonderful grandchildren Charlotte & Cameron.
