In Loving Memory of Raul Ramirez Niño Jr.

With profound love, gratitude, and faith in God's eternal promise, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Raul "Prieto" Ramirez Nino Jr., who entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family.

Raul was born on October 21, 1942, in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Raul Nino, Sr. and Inocensia Nino. Throughout his life, he embodied the values of faith, devotion, love, compassion, humility, and hard work. His dedication to his family were the foundation of a life well lived.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; his siblings, Jose "Mono" Nino and Lupe "Chata" Huerta; and his cherished grandson, Daniel Michael Nino Jr.

Raul's beautiful legacy lives on through his devoted wife of 68 years, Maria D. Nino, whose happiness was always his greatest joy. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Raul III, Ernest and his wife Emily, Daniel and his wife Lisa, Mario and his wife Delia, Richard “Ricky” Nino, and Elisa Nino.

He is also survived by his beloved uncle, Manuel Nino; his brother, Johnny Nino; and his sisters, Mary "Chuy" Tello, Elisa Bautista, Pila Rodriguez, Elena Macias, and Rosario "Chayo" Trevino. Raul was the proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom were blessed by his love and presence.

Raul was an extraordinary man with many talents and a generous spirit. Whether working in agriculture or expressing his creativity through the culinary arts, he approached everything with precision, diligence, and passion. Raul was gifted with extraordinary talent for building, repairing, and assembling almost anything. He had an incredible knack for understanding how things worked, often fixing or constructing projects without ever needing instructions. He was our "Mexican MacGyver". Raul took great pride in using his hands. His creativity, craftsmanship, and willingness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was known for his unforgettable homemade menudo, perfectly seasoned beans, and legendary salsa, each meal prepared with love and shared generously. A master of the grill, his barbecues brought family and friends together, creating cherished memories around every table. His green thumb transformed every garden into a place of beauty, reflecting the care and patience he gave to everything he touched.

More than his many talents, Raul will be remembered for his enormous heart. He was loving, hardworking, humble, and always willing to help others. He touched countless lives with his kindness, generosity, wisdom, and quiet strength.

Above all else, Raul found his greatest fulfillment in his family. Nothing brought him more happiness than seeing his beloved wife, Maria, smile and watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow surrounded by love. His life was a testament to selfless devotion and unconditional love.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we find comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind and in the faith that through Christ's Resurrection, death is not the end but the beginning of eternal life. Raul's spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of our lives, guiding us toward love, kindness, faith, and compassion.

May the angels lead you into Paradise, Dad. May the saints welcome you into the presence of our Lord, and may the perpetual light of Christ shine upon you forever.

Con profundo amor, gratitud y fe en la promesa eterna de Dios, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro amado esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo, Raúl "Prieto" Ramírez Nino Jr., quien entró en el descanso eterno el 16 de junio de 2026, a los 83 años, rodeado de su amorosa familia.

Raúl nació el 21 de octubre de 1942 en Delicias, Chihuahua, México, hijo de Raúl Nino, Sr. e Inocensia Nino. A lo largo de su vida, encarnó los valores de fe, devoción, amor, compasión, humildad y trabajo arduo. Su dedicación a su familia fue la base de una vida bien vivida.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus amados padres; sus hermanos, José "Mono" Nino y Lupe "Chata" Huerta; y su querido nieto, Daniel Michael Nino Jr.

El hermoso legado de Raúl vive a través de su devota esposa de 68 años, María D. Nino, cuya felicidad siempre fue su mayor alegría. Es recordado con cariño por sus hijos: Raúl III, Ernest y su esposa Emily, Daniel y su esposa Lisa, Mario y su esposa Delia, Richard "Ricky" Nino y Elisa Nino.

También le sobreviven su querido tío, Manuel Nino; su hermano, Johnny Nino; y sus hermanas, Mary "Chuy" Tello, Elisa Bautista, Pila Rodriguez, Elena Macias y Rosario "Chayo" Treviño. Raúl fue el orgulloso abuelo de 21 nietos y 22 bisnietos, y deja muchos sobrinos, sobrinos, primos, familiares extendidos y queridos amigos, todos bendecidos por su amor y presencia.

Raúl era un hombre extraordinario con muchos talentos y un espíritu generoso. Ya fuera trabajando en la agricultura o expresando su creatividad a través de las artes culinarias, abordaba todo con precisión, diligencia y pasión. Raúl tenía un talento extraordinario para construir, reparar y ensamblar casi cualquier cosa. Era conocido por su inolvidable menú casero, frijoles perfectamente sazonados y salsa legendaria, cada comida preparada con amor y compartida generosamente. Maestro de la parrilla, sus parrilladas reunían a familia y amigos, creando recuerdos preciados alrededor de cada mesa. Su mano verde transformaba cada jardín en un lugar de belleza, reflejando el cuidado y la paciencia que daba a todo lo que tocaba.

Más que sus muchos talentos, Raúl será recordado por su enorme corazón. Era amoroso, trabajador, humilde y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Tocó innumerables vidas con su bondad, generosidad, sabiduría y fortaleza silenciosa.

Por encima de todo, Raúl encontraba su mayor realización en su familia. Nada le daba más felicidad que ver sonreír a su amada esposa, María, y ver crecer a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos rodeados de amor. Su vida fue un testimonio de devoción desinteresada y amor incondicional.

Al despedirnos de este hombre extraordinario, encontramos consuelo en los incontables recuerdos que deja y en la fe de que, a través de la Resurrección de Cristo, la muerte no es el fin sino el comienzo de la vida eterna. El espíritu de Raúl estará para siempre tejido en el tejido de nuestras vidas, guiándonos hacia el amor, la bondad, la fe y la compasión.

Que los ángeles te guíen al Paraíso, papá. Que los santos te reciban en la presencia de nuestro Señor, y que la luz perpetua de Cristo brille sobre ti por siempre.
