Rebecca Grigorian
June 25, 1931 – April 28, 2025
Rebecca Grigorian, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 93.
Born on June 25, 1931, Rebecca's life was rooted in faith, family, and music. From a young age, she had a gift for singing, which she nurtured in the church alongside her parents and siblings. Her love for music continued throughout her life and became a central part of her identity. After immigrating to the United States, she found a spiritual home at the First Armenian Presbyterian Church in Fresno, where she became a dedicated member of the church choir and community.
Rebecca is survived by her daughter Aida and son-in-law Boghos; her granddaughters Nyerere and Osanna; and her great-grandchildren AniZabelle and Noah, children of Osanna. She is also survived by her son Barkev, daughter-in-law Anahit, and granddaughter Melanie. Rebecca was predeceased by her beloved son Sarkis, and is survived through his daughters Jane and Rebecca, and her great-grandchildren Brian, Lily, and Adam, children of Jane.
A devoted matriarch, Rebecca's greatest joy was her family. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched generations. Her voice, both in song and in spirit, resonated in the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy of faith and warmth will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
