Our beloved Rick entered his Heavenly home on June 29, 2023, at the age of 66.  The middle child of Ron and Ruby Welker, he was very active in sports, particularly baseball, while attending John Burroughs Elementary School, Kings Canyon Junior High School and Roosevelt High School.  He worked in beverage sales for his entire life and also farmed raisin grapes for 25 years.  He truly loved the country life.  Although he was quite a character (everyone has a funny story about Rick), he was truly a man of great character who always rose to the occasion in trying times.  In recent years he enjoyed golfing, rooting for the Giants, and spending cherished time with family and friends.

Rick is survived by his wife Donna, son Kyle and his wife Megan, granddaughter Lexi, sister Debby Clark and her husband Bill, sister Kim Kinder, and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

A celebration of Rick's life will be held at the CPDES Hall located at 172 West Jefferson Avenue, Fresno, California, on July 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
