Robert "Bob" Arzate passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 16, 2025, at the age of 90 in Fresno, CA. He was born in Madera on October 12, 1934. Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife of over 68 years, Dolores Arzate, and their children Daniel Arzate, Lucillia Crowe, Steven Arzate, and Monica Arzate-Pacheco; along with 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death are his parents Nick & Evangelina Arzate; and his siblings Josie Garcia, Alice Campos, Rita Serrano, Benny Arzate and Louie Arzate.  He is survived by his sisters Vera Rodarte and Anna-Marie Arzate.

Bob served in the Army National Guard during the 1950s, a period that shaped much of his early adulthood. He was the proud owner of Arzate Ag, a business he & Dolores passionately ran for more than 40 years, demonstrating his dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. Upon retiring, Bob devoted himself to his faith as a Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Victory Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Known for his vibrant laughter and ability to make friends easily, Bob also had a curious nature that fueled his love for travel. He and Dolores explored many countries, enriching their lives with diverse cultures and experiences.

A very heartfelt "thank you" to the beautiful staff at Summerfield Memory Care where Bob lived out his last few years with dignity and grace.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests charity donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org
