Robert "Les" Madruga peacefully went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2025.

He was a beloved father to Kim (Dennis) Valpey, Stacy (John) Jonigian, Kelly (Joseph) Moses, and Shawn Madruga, and a proud grandfather to Jennifer Rowe, Christina (Luke) Langley, Marisa (Vito) Palazzo, Madeline Madruga, Kyle Jonigian, and many great-grandchildren.

He shared a lasting friendship with his former wife, Diana Newell, and maintained strong relationships with those around him.

Les worked for Safeway for 35 years before retiring. He had a deep love for the outdoors — whether hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in nature, where he felt most at peace.

He was preceded in death by his sister Ann Nelson, sister Evelyn Momberg, brother Bud Madruga, and his parents, Joseph and Mary Madruga.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

At Les's request, no funeral services will be held.
