Robert (Bob) Rash passed away on December 2nd, 2024 at the age of 83.

Bob was born in Fresno on March 30, 1941, to Robert M and Jewel Rash. He was raised with 1 sister, Betty. He met Linda, the love of his life, at 17 years of age. They were married for 62 years and had a true love story. He was completely lost without her this past year.

Beloved Husband, Father, grandfather and great grandpa will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Survived by his 2 daughters, Traci McFerrin and her husband, Rick and Tisha Borchardt and her husband, Brian. 4 grandsons: Tanner McFerrin and his wife, Brittany and their son, Micah. Landon McFerrin, Blake McFerrin and Riley Borchardt.

Bob adored his family and was so proud of all 5 grandsons and great grandson Micah that brought the rare smile to his face after losing his beloved wife. There is nothing he wouldn't do for his family. We all knew we could count on him no matter what. There is such a void without him in our lives.

Bob started his career as a painter for Ron Elia and then William B Saleh. He then ran for Business Rep for District Council 16, local 294 and held office for 17 years until his retirement in 2009. He was a member for a total of 61 years.

After retirement, he and Linda were inseparable. They would travel in their RV to favorite places, Pismo, Morro Bay and Crescent City. Every Friday was spent at a movie theater and then dinner. They would go to dental appts, hair appts and even pedicures, together. Rare did you see one without the other. Now, they are together again!

There will be a Celebration of Life held in is honor on January 18th 2-4 PM at the Rash residence.
