Obituary

Ronald Glenn Lee, age 82, went to be with Jesus on October 4, 2023 doing one of the things he loved most, golfing. Ron was born on August 14, 1941, in Coalinga, California. He lived the majority of his life in Coalinga, until he moved with Glynda to Clovis in 2014. Ron graduated from Coalinga High School in 1958 and was well-known for athletic ability.

Even though he played several sports, football brought him the most joy and recognition. He received the honor of the most valuable player in the Fresno City-County All Star game and received the MVP award two seasons later. Ron met the love of his life, Glynda Lewallen, in high school, and they began dating while attending West Hills College. Ron and Glynda were married in Coalinga, CA on August 31, 1961.

Ron was a very hard worker and from a young age had the mind of a businessman. He worked with his dad and uncle selling cars at Lee Brother's. He then had the opportunity to buy a fuel distributing business. Ron started West Hills Oil over 60 years ago. His passion for customer service and a knack for training the next generations, enabled West Hills Oil to grow into what it is today.

He was proud that his daughters, son in law, grandson, and granddaughter's husband all work for the business. However, his business was not the primary force in his life. His love for the Lord and his family drove every decision he made.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife Glynda; parents Clarence and Cordia Lee; his sister Donna Ramalho.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kelly Cain and her husband Scott, and Kristin Ragan and her husband Jeff; his brother, Bob Lee and his wife Cathy. He was the proud "Pop" of Ryan Cain, Brandon Cain and his wife Brianne, Zachary Ragan and his wife Kaylin, and Kelsey Dooman and her husband John; and the cherished GGpa to Beatrice Cain and Asher Ragan.

He was a kind and generous man and a cherished friend to many. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Tim. 4:7.
